Join the Sideshow team as an Account Director

 
 

As an Account Director at Sideshow, you’ll get to know your clients’ businesses inside out, making sure our work delivers value. You’ll spot opportunities to grow the account and build client relationships, listen to client feedback, and take the lead on delivering great work. From interpreting client briefs to briefing the creative team, checking work, sharing it with clients, and acting on their feedback fast. That’s why great communication skills are a must.

You don’t need an agency background to apply. But you do need to be passionate, full of initiative and willing to get stuck in.

You must also:

  • Own the details of every job and be accountable for it; for your own jobs and the ones that belong to your direct reports.

  • Be responsible for management and reporting for your client set; including forecasting, project reconciliation and preparing quarterly account plans.

  • Stick to (and improve on) agency processes, to make sure we’re always working in the most effective way possible.

  • Take responsibility for managing and reporting for your client set; including forecasting, project reconciliation and preparing quarterly account plans.

  • Coach and manage your team to help them do their best work.

  • Step up and fill in for the Group Account Director when they need you to.

  • Take the lead when it comes to on-boarding new clients and immersing them in our agency processes. 

  • Help with new business pitches and represent us at key client events like proposals and project updates.

  • Have a track record of building exceptional business relationships and going above and beyond to deliver great work.
