Join the Sideshow team as a Senior Production Assistant

 
 

As a Senior Production Assistant at Sideshow, you’ll work at the heart of our growing video team, planning and organising shoots for corporate clients. You’ll be lighting scenes, operating cameras and editing video content on short deadlines. So you’ll need to be comfortable directing actors, learning new cameras and composing great shots.

You don’t need an agency background to apply. But you do need an eye for creative composition and experience working in a corporate environment before. Plus bags of enthusiasm.

You must also:

  • Have a strong portfolio, packed with corporate and creative video content that showcases your skills.

  • Understand how to use complex camera set-ups in live shoots.

  • Have an excellent creative editing style. And be able to work to a brief within brand guidelines.

  • Know the best way to to set up audio and lighting. Both on set and on location.

  • Be an expert editor in Premiere Pro and After Effects.

  • Have a background in corporate video work.

  • Work well in a team. And individually. Standard.

  • Be able to manage your daily and weekly workflow. And work to tight deadlines, even if it occasionally means working longer days.

  • Understand the whole production process, from start to finish.

These will be a big advantage:

  • An interest in cameras and camera equipment.

  • A keen eye for new ideas and streak of creative inspiration.

  • Experience in animation, motion graphics, photography and/or podcasting.

  • A working knowledge of Adobe Audition.
