Business Development Director

Eleven Miles, one of the UK’s leading and most awarded independent integrated creative agencies is looking for a Business Development Director to join the team.

As Business Development Director, you’ll be responsible for generating new leads and client opportunities that align with our business development strategy.

Working within our business development team, you’ll craft and deliver proposals, tenders and pitch presentations that delight and excite our prospects. As well as closing opportunities and onboarding new clients into the agency successfully. 

We’ve been growing organically as an agency since we started, but now we want to supercharge that trajectory. That means you must have strong, proven business development experience, together with excellent key account management skills. Experience working within a creative/agency environment is highly advantageous, although not essential.

 

Roles & responsibilities

 
  • Nurture a long-term pipeline of new business prospects.

  • Package and productise our offering to meet the ever-evolving needs of prospects.

  • Identify tender frameworks that we need to be on and deliver what’s required to make this happen.

  • Become a thought leader, who’s able to advise and guide (prospective) clients on their agency needs in an ever-changing macro environment.

  • Actively seek out opportunities to develop our brand reputation, and work with internal teams to bring these to life. 

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the contextual issues faced by clients and anticipate what they need from their agency.

  • Manage the internal pitch process, lead rehearsals, and hone our collective ability to represent Eleven Miles in the best possible light.

  • Drive the standard of new business output for the agency.
