OUR CHALLENGE

CRC offers a full range of bikes, components and accessories, but typically has an audience that is firmly routed in mountain biking. They approached us to help them grow their sales throughout key periods of the year through the delivery of innovative, exciting and contextually relevant advertising across the Google Display Network and Facebook.

OUR APPROACH

We created a series of themes that we felt would attract their audiences in the UK, US, France, Germany, Italy and Spain. The first was Dirty. Great. Deals, which highlighted the fact that their customers fully commit to their sport and enjoy getting muddy and dirty, while at the same time, saving money. This route was translated across five languages.

Within each HTML5 advert, product promotion was interlinked within the creative to showcase which products had offers or deals associated with them. We then rolled out the creative across a range of sizes and formats as well as designing weather-dependent advertising, which displayed mud and rain if the weather outlook looked wet, or dry sand/dirt if the weather for the next few days looked sunny.
