OUR CHALLENGE

As WorldPay prepared to separate from RBS, investment in systems and technical platforms was at the top of their agenda. As was the need to bring internal teams with them on the transition journey. We were engaged to define a strategy for their intranet alongside technical and functional recommendation. 

OUR APPROACH

There was an appetite to do something a bit different, something that would bring their different sites together and create a working digital community.

So it was important to really get under the skin of the organisation and understand what staff wanted and needed. We ran a series of stakeholder interviews and focus groups with staff, using best practice examples as a stimulus for discussion and capturing any requirements. We complimented this with qualitative research including an online staff survey. And we brought the findings together to deliver a set of functional recommendations for the intranet, as well as creative suggestions and production of an online newsletter plus HR and internal materials including a staff handbook.

As a parallel workstream, we conducted a technical assessment and provided them with a set of platform options to choose from.
